Sitecore 10 install error -
The property ‘Value’ cannot be found on this object. Verify that the property exists.

during a recent install of Sitecore 10.2 using SIF or SIA (Graphical interface install), I encountered an issue during the last step of the install — The property ‘Value’ cannot be found on this object. Verify that the property exists.
The error is misleading as sitecore was pointing me to recheck the properties on the config files.
Solution :
Open IIS and check if your app pool for the identity server is up and running.
The app pool requires these services to be enabled before starting
- Windows Process Activation Service — WAS
- World Wide Web Publishing Service — W3SVC
Starting these services on windows services (services.msc) should solve the issue :)
Start a fresh install of Sitecore
